Tom has more than 30 years of experience in executive line management and management consulting in Australia, New Zealand, South‑East Asia, South Africa, the UK and the USA.
As a leader of the global Organisation Effectiveness practice and the Asia business region at Partners in Performance, his work focuses on organisational effectiveness, business transformation, operations improvement and strategy across multiple industries.
Before joining Partners in Performance, Tom spent many years in executive line management in Malaysia and Australia, including eight years as CCO of a leading telecoms provider. Prior to that, he spent eight years with McKinsey and Company.
His combined experience in both strategy consulting and industry executive management, allows him to draw upon a diverse skill set and well‑rounded vantage point to guide clients through their operational and organisational improvement journeys.
At Partners in Performance, his focus is on transforming ‘the way an organisation works’ – what it values, how manages and rewards employees, how it rises to new market challenges. Here, he believes that a thorough execution is more important than the strategy it is based on – a strategy often does not ‘survive the first punch’, but an alignment of organisational behaviours will.
